Brachychiton populneus x acerifolius ‘Jerilderie Red’
An Australian icon, Brachychiton populneus x acerifolius ‘Jerilderie Red’, the Red Flame Tree, shines during the height of summer. Growing to 8m tall by 6m wide, this fabulous, evergreen native sports a rich and full canopy of deeply lobed leaves. In summer masses of red bell-shaped flowers adorn the canopy atop the bottle shaped trunk. Bird attracting and dry hardy once established the Red Flame Tree is an excellent landscape inclusion.

Dylan –
Saw this at the local park and asked the council about its name. Then I found this over at Kilbys so have added this to my list of favourites.
