A grand pillar of colour and interest, Prunus cerasifera ‘Oakville Spire’ looks striking in the landscape all year long. Growing to 6m tall by 2m wide, the upright form of this deciduous tree gives it character even in the heart of Winter. In Spring masses of single white blooms cover the tree, giving way to foliage that flushes reddish bronze, maturing to burgundy over the Summer. In Autumn the foliage of Prunus cerasifera ‘Oakville Spire’ goes through little colour change before falling. Best grown in full sun as individual spires or as an attractive screen.
